Summary: Every since he was six, Ryan spent his summers at his wealthy and eccentric Aunt Eleanore's house in Connecticut. Until Ryan went away to college and grew too busy for that sort of thing. His junior year, Eleanore died, and left all her worldly possessions to Ryan. Ryan, who regretted not spending those last few years with the only relative who ever loved him, decided to fix up the old mansion and throw a party for Eleanore's birthday. He and local contractor, Jon, don't exactly start things off on the right foot and Ryan is soon avoiding the man who is working on his own house. Who also knows everyone in town, gets along with all of Ryan's friends, and is possibly, painfully, attractive.

Anyway, I apologize for the nonsensicalness of this, it's basically a teeny tiny slice of life. It's set in the same universe as Tall Tale, where Spencer is a cute trans girl, Ryan is her femme best friend and Jon is Ryan's college student boyfriend. Funny how that fic never seems to get written but plenty of surrounding ficlets do. I'm signed up for bandombigbang so maybe that will change... Anyway, on with the fic.

And part of a much bigger AU I'm writing about Spencer the little trans!girl, Brendon her super supportive if completely sheltered Mormon boyfriend, and Ryan her ultra femme-gayboy best friend. Also featuring Gerard and Frank, the owner and operators of the Way Center for GLBT Youth and Jon, Ryan's total frat boy boyfriend.

I was writing my fic for harlequin_bands and getting unbelievably frustrated over how Jon and Ryan were NOT having hot sex in the dilapedated garden shed like they were supposed to and decided I needed a break for the sake of my fragile sanity.

So to distract myself, I wrote this peice of fluff. Warning: Tis, TOTAL fluff. I dunno. I needed it, okay? I blame Jon and Ryan and the STUPID garden shed.
